In collaboration with committed kindergarten teachers across the country, we have recognized the challenge of integrating sustainability into daily routines. Attitudes, values and consumption patterns are formed from the children’s first year of life. But how good tools do we adults have to be good role models?

Globally, there is a lack of both education and training in sustainable development within early childhood education. At Wileo, we are passionate about the people in the nursery role, who already have enough of important topics to be included in an already (for most) hectic day-to-day nursery, tight budget and lack of tools in sustainable development.

Our ambition is that it should be easy to acquire knowledge through exploratory learning in practice, where we explore and learn from each other, other professionals across cultures and together with the children, as well as to make it easy for everyone (regardless of role) to carry out educational activities without the need for purchasing or planning in all subjects and subject areas.

For over two years, we have collaborated with 150 kindergartens to offer an innovative platform that facilitates the integration of sustainability in children’s learning. Wileo offers tools and resources to implement sustainable learning activities and build environmental awareness.

With Wileo, kindergarten staff get access to user-friendly digital tools for engaging, time- and cost-effective activities.
