PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR WILEO
When you use Wileo.no, we will process personal data about you. Below you will therefore find information about the personal data that is collected, why we do this and your rights related to the processing of the personal data. Wileo AS is responsible for the processing of the personal data we process.
About the Service and the Agreement
Wileo is an educational platform centered around sustainability pedagogy for kindergartens. With Wileo, you get access to engaging activities, simplified tools in sustainable development, a calendar, as well as offers for exciting sustainability missions from the environmental mascot; the whale LIVA. By using Wileo, you agree to the following terms.
Personal information
At Wileo, we are concerned with privacy and handle personal data with care. We collect and use personal data such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, organization number, role, as well as technical information such as log information and IP address. In addition, it is optional: a) to enter information about the employer, b) whether you want to be available on mailing lists c) to receive Liva assignments. Internally in the individual unit, it is logged which users see newsletters, ‘login and movement patterns in the platform’ for the following purposes: providing access to Wileo to communicate with users and improve/develop the platform and for sending LIVA assignments in the mail.
Safety
We take data security seriously. We have implemented a number of security measures to ensure that your personal information is protected, including data minimization, access control, training, regular security assessments and system updates.
Disclosure of personal data to others
We do not pass on your personal data to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis would typically be an agreement with you or a legal basis that requires us to release the information.
We will be able to share personal data with our technical subcontractors, or with public authorities where there is a statutory disclosure obligation. In such cases, we have entered into agreements to safeguard information security at all stages of the processing.
All processing of personal data that we undertake takes place within the EU/EEA area.
Data storage and third party services
We store data with several trusted third-party services, including HubSpot, Auth0, Sanity, Stripe, Squarespace, Microsoft, Versel, Digital Ocean and Google Analytics. We have concluded data processing agreements with each of them to ensure that they meet our high standards for data security and privacy.
We store your personal data with us for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected.
This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent. Personal data we process to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled.
Your rights when we process personal data about you
You have the right to demand access, correction or deletion of the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, object to the processing and demand the right to data portability. You can read more about the content of these rights on the Norwegian Data Protection Authority’s website: www.datatilsynet.no.
To exercise your rights, you must contact us via post@wileo.no. We will respond to your inquiry to us as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 days.
We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to exercise your rights with us. We do this to be sure that we only give access to your personal data to you – and not to someone pretending to be you.
You can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data by us at any time. The easiest way to do this is to send an email to ida@wileo.no
Data leaks
In the event of a data breach, we have a clear procedure for handling the situation, including identification, reporting, assessment, response, notification and evaluation.
Changes to the agreement
We may change this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes, but we also recommend that you review the agreement yourself regularly.
