Impact quests

To make sustainable development both exciting and easy to explore together, we have created Liva, a brave and curious blue whale who loves to explore how things are connected; what, how and why.

Once a month, Liva sends the kindergarten:

Travelogue adapted for a gathering time with discoveries from Liva’s adventures

Environmental assignments that the children can explore in practice

Message in a bottle that the children can choose to take home with Liva the teddy bear to their parents

Extra activities adapted to the same theme that create
reflection, wonder and participation.

All assignments are rooted in the Framework Plan and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Through Liva’s stories, the children get to reflect, discover connections and understand why it is important to take care of both people, animals and nature in a positive way. With Liva as an environmental hero, sustainability becomes something the children can see, feel and be a part of, while the kindergarten gets a simple and inspiring way to connect learning to the Framework Plan.
